Gabrielle Lindau - ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

Gabrielle Lindau is pleased to be to taking on the role of Associate Producer in La Mort Difficile, directed and written by Jocelyn Marquis. Adapted from the novel, La Mort Difficile by Rene Crevel the film proves to be a beautifully alluring invitation into a world of homosexuality, suicide and rebellion.

Currently Gabrielle resides in New York City where in addition to her film endeavors she maintains a position as a Media Producer for a Fortune 500 fashion cosmetic company. Gabrielle passions are within the arts and she continues to immerse herself in various genres of film, music and literature.

As a candidate at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland Gabrielle is ranked amongst students considered to be the best of their generation. Gabrielle plans to pursue her graduate degree in film & philosophy. The focus of her thesis will explore the relationship between Capitalism, Hollywood, and sexuality.

In October 2008 Gabrielle was asked to join the Academy of Social Action (Harlem, New York City) as a guest panelist. Gabrielle spoke to the schools students about the importance of education for every student regardless of ones socio-economic background, the importance of individuality and expressions of creativity, and the challenges and benefits to breaking out of cookie cutter societal norms.

Some of Gabrielle’s past endeavors include working as the Assistant Director & Stage Manager in the Ara Shehigian production of Sam Shepard’s True West, in association with the Lily Lodge Actors Conservatory, 2006. Gabrielle has worked as a Production Assistant with Director George Ratliff, July 2007. During the pursuit of her Bachelor of Science in Film/Media Production from the New School University Gabrielle had the privilege of becoming an Apprentice with Hidden Hill Productions & Academy Award winning Director Thomas Lennon on “The Supreme Court”, A Nation of Liberties, The Rehnquist Revolution, A New Kind of Justice, & One Nation Under Law, 2007.
